Porn, it’s a great thing to watch and can be even more fun when you have someone to watch it with. However, many are confusing the acts that go on in these adult video’s with the real desires of men and women in the real world. This can be especially burdensome for young adults who’re just reaching the height of sexual maturity and are beginning to experiment with females for the first time. There’s nothing like dating someone in high school who watches a lot of porn on their down time and tries to pull one of those moves on you only for it to end awkwardly. The reason is that because so many young adults and even some adults are guilty, of confusing sex education with porn. What you’re going to see in adult entertainment isn’t going to be something that all women or even men for that matter are open to just doing or even in the same manner.

The do’s and don’t

While porn is a great way to learn new things you may not have known you liked, or even finding ways to spice up the bedroom, it shouldn’t be a go to guide or a how to guide for that matter. What many don’t understand is that porn is for enjoyment, masturbatory purposes and just entertainment in general. You can learn about new things that you can try with your partner, or even be a conversation starter for couples to try new things. However, it shouldn’t be taken much further than that notion. The problem with using the adult entertainment film industry as sex education is it’s becoming something that is creating expectations that are unrealistic.

You might find yourself watching a scene in which a woman is happily involved with many guys at once or performing certain acts that might portray that this is something all couples engage in. While some people may partake in some acts or some specific things, chances are the numbers are pretty low statistically. While the adult entertainment industry may create unrealistic expectations for women to perform certain acts, men are often scrutinized and put under just as much pressure.

When watching films from the adult entertainment industry you see these males who have amazing libido, can stay rock hard for hours and are just able to perform perfectly. In instances like these, women are given unrealistic expectations which can lead to disappointment when they learn that this isn’t the case for almost any men anywhere. Between shoots men are given time to cool down, are often times given supplements that cause them to stay harder for longer and so forth. Of course nobody sees any of this when the films are being shot and produced, so people just assume that men are naturally this way.

This even goes as far as sexual positions and the outcomes of certain acts. One must remember when seeing these types of things is that everything is done for visual appeal and it likely took many shots, poses and doing to get the end results that we as viewers are seeing. Many of the positions and things that are seen are for pure enjoyment and gratification, but really aren’t meant to be copied. In the events that they’re something more feasible you shouldn’t expect the same results as you’re seeing on film. Not all women are going to be capable of the poses, positions and so forth that are seen by women in the adult film industry. Likewise, not all women are going to be in to these types of things and will want to do them. In most cases, the females and even the males of adult entertainment have been doing these types of positions and scenes for quite a considerable amount of time and thus with much more practice its easier for them to do.

However, this all goes back to the original statement that in the adult entertainment industry most things aren’t meant for copying or even for educational purposes. As the name states, it’s merely there to entertain, provide a sexual healthy outlet and allow couples to discover new things out there. It can create new situations in which couples might want to try or simple gratification for those who’re single. Porn can really be used for a lot of reasons and in a lot of ways, but really should never be used to replace actual sexual education or even in place of sexual education.
